And Bajaj will be the first company to roll out the Quadricyle in the form of Bajaj RE60, which also be the first Quadricyle in India. Quadricyles are certainly safer than the 3-wheelers, as they come with a fully covered body structure with hard top and doors. The Bajaj R60 looks like a car, however it will have the maximum speed of 70kmph. True to its word to offer a four-wheel drive variant at a later time, Force Motors has delivered the Force One 4WD variant with a ‘Shift on Fly’ feature for an easy shift in the drive mode from 2WD to 4WD within a matter of seconds with a manual drive shifting process. The sedate performer of city roads converts into a fierce tiger trespassing over the most difficult terrains including the rocky mountain ranges as smoothly as the hot knife passes through the butter. The powerful SUV can be adjusted to three different drive modes, the 4x2 Hi, 4x4 Lo and 4x4 Hi while the other features like ABS to suit the SUV fraught with off-roading capabilities are also included to send the Force One 4x4 over passionate driven rides. Renault Duster 4x4
Expected launch Date : Jul 2013Estimated Price : Rs 7,99,000 to Rs 12,18,00023 March, 2013 : The 4WD version of the Renault Duster is sold in several international markets but has not yet been released in India, mainly due to the high price tag that will come attached to it. However, with the launch of Ford's EcoSport nearing, Renault has no choice but to step up and bring out its 4X4 Duster. Team-BHP recently posted spyshots of Duster undergoing testing in Kerala, with the 4WD sticker above its rear tail lights. Since Renault is already producing the 4WD Duster for import purposes, it will not be a very hard task for the automaker to develop one for the Indian sub-continent. The 4x4 version of the compact SUV is likely to retain the same 1.5-litre diesel engine that churns out a maximum power output of 108bhp and 148Nm of torque. -

Audi has decided to foray in the small car segment with Audi A1. After much speculation, the company has officially showcased Audi A1 pictures which promise great luxury small car. When each and every auto maker is entering into compact car segment than why not Audi. Audi A1 was first time hit the Tokyo Motor show in October 2007 as a metroproject quattro concept. According to the company, it will have its world premier at the Geneva Show in March 2010. The mini luxury car would be available for sale in the UK in May 2010. The car in hatchback form is expected to hit Indian soars by the end of 2011. However, no official word to confirm the news. Audi A1 is based on its parent firm's car Volkswagen Polo and is to be shorter than the Audi A3, has been a largest selling car model, but will have more length, width and height than the Mini Cooper. BMW 1 series's size would be more appropriate example for Audi A1. The car has three doors and five door hatchback is also speculated in near future followed by the former. -
Fiat Punto Evo

Basavanhalli as President and Managing Director for Fiat and Chrysler India operations as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen its business position in India. Previously, as head of CIAPL, Basavanhalli was responsible for Fiat and Chrysler’s APAC (Asia Pacific) Technical Center located in Chennai, India. Additionally, the launch of the Fiat Grande Punto is drawing to a close with the launch date set for the 10th of April, 2013. The new Grande Punto is likely to see some changes on the 1.4-litre T-Jet's power ratings. -
Tata Aria AT
Expected launch Date : Aug 2013Estimated Price : Rs 10,17,611 to Rs 14,95,00122 March, 2013 : Tata Motors has had quite a lot of trouble with the Tata Aria despite the SUV being one of its most technologically advanced models to date. In order to fix the situation, Tata recently launched a price-cut Tata Aria but that did not quite fix matters in terms of sales. Therefore, to further remedy the situation, Tata Motors has brought out a new scheme on the Aria where customers will be able to avail a discount of Rs. 2.5 lakh on the car. However, the Rs. 2.5 lakh discount is only reserved for some of the 2011 models. A discount of 2.0 lakh is on offer for all the 2012 Tata Aria models. This offer does not apply on the base model – Tata Aria Pure LX. -

Chevrolet Spark 800
Expected launch Date : Aug 2013Estimated Price : N/A13th-Feb-2012: Chevrolet Spark 800 is a downsized version of Chevrolet Spark hatchback that was proposed to be launched by Chevrolet long back. Speculations of this small car were made back in 2008 but the development on Chevrolet Spark 800 has not seen its dawn till date. In 2010, General Motors India’s President Karl Slym confirmed that the launch of Chevrolet Spark 800 in India will happen in 2 year’s time frame, which means that it can launch this year. It was told that Spark 800 will be powered by an 800cc petrol engine. This is the same engine which powered the Daewoo Matiz (phased out). The 795cc, 6-valve unit will pump out 38KW and torque of 68.6 Nm@4600 rpm. The new Spark is expected to be priced around Rs 2.50 lakh. The new Chevrolet Spark 800cc engine with 3 cylinders is expected to be extra fuel efficient.
