Citroen DS3 Cabrio Racing Concept breaks cover
Production model could follow
Citroën has announced plans of showcasing the DS3 Cabrio Racing Concept this weekend at Goodwood Festival of Speed and then in September at Frankfurt Motor Show.
Essentially a cabrio version of the DS3 Coupe Racing, the concept most likely serves as a preview of a production model. Power comes from the same turbocharged 1.6-liter THP engine producing 202 bhp (150 kW) while design mirrors the coupe.
It sits on 19-inch glossy black alloy wheels and comes with black chrome inserts on the door mirrors, handles and boot trim. Other highlights include Carmin-colored brake calipers, wheel hubs, black canvas roof and door mirror housings. The cabin comes with bucket seats wrapped around in Nappa, leather and Alcantara, along with a Carmin finish for the dashboard, seat housings and gearshift.
